Fro-yo enters the Oxford English Dictionary

According to Waitrose Weekend this week, “fro-yo” has made it into the new Oxford English Dictionary (OED).  Fro-yo or frozen yoghurt is one of a few new culinary terms that have been added to the revised dictionary…others include rendang, matcha and bocconcini…look them up if you don’t know what they are!  The magazine says that “…as a celebration of author Roald Dahl’s centenary, a selection of words he invented are also listed, most notably ‘scrumdiddlyumptious’.”
